Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts

Chasing FireI expected more from this book but as it stands it was 2.5* in some places and 3.5* in others.

I think the main problem I found the secondary characters more interesting than the main characters of Gull and Rowan and I didn’t fall in love with their relationship like I usually do with romance novels.

The fire jumping ought to have provided more heightened drama than it did and I think the author took it for granted that we knew all about it before embarking on this book. Personally I never realised there were people out there crazy enough to do this for a living; we certainly don’t have any in the UK!

Book: 3*

Cover: 3*
