I am shocked, SHOCKED by how many deaths there were in this book. I can’t even possibly begin to decide which one is the most tragic because I didn’t really have time to digest any of them before -bam- another one is dead.
Anyway, I did enjoy the book but I think I did to do a reread before I give my final opinion on it. I read the first half then left it for a couple of weeks before going back to finish it off so it’s a bit disjointed in my brain. Do I think it was worthy of the GoodReads ‘Best Book of 2011’ award? Well, I haven’t read all of the books released in 2011 but I suspect there are probably more worthy contenders out there.
