I honestly can’t say that I am a fan of love triangles in principle but as they go, this one played out remarkably angst-free. Lisa was pretty grown-up about it. If she wasn’t a cheater, I’d even think she deserves her own romance story.
I always find the friend-to-lover trope a bit of an awkward one because logic dictates that one party has a lot more invested in it whilst the other one is usually clueless and is then playing catch-up in the feelings department (especially when the second party has been married to a mutual friend of the two of them for years!).
