When New York is put under siege by Oscorp, it is up to Spider-Man to save the city he swore to protect as well as his loved ones.
I would like the past 2 and a half hours of my life back please.
Peter is indecisive and spends the whole film with a perpetual frown and puppy dog eyes, Spider-Man is arrogant, this Harry Osborn had no redeeming features unlike James Franco’s version in the preceding trilogy, Electro was weird, Peter spent the whole film wanting to find out more about his parents and then nothing ever comes of his Dad’s secret lab after Peter had watched the emotional video, the Rhino felt like something out of Transformers and worse of all the comedic moments were utterly cringe-worthy.
The only things I remotely enjoyed were Peter’s scenes with his Aunt and the Peter/Gwen stuff. To be fair I didn’t know going into it that Gwen would die so I was mildly surprised when she didn’t wake up in his arms at the end.
Overall I am glad that there isn’t a third film in this particular Spider-Man franchise.
